Total time: 30 minutes

Prep time: 30 minutes

Ingredients for 6 people

3 cups of frozen peas & carrots

1 1/2 cups of ham, diced

3 tbsp of ricotta cheese

2 rectangular puff pastries

2 egg yolks

1 slice of swiss cheese

salt & pepper

Step 1/4

Mix the carrots and peas with the diced ham, ricotta, salt, and pepper and refrigerate.

Step 2/4

Stick the two puff pastry sheets together and spread the pea mixture in a long strip in the middle. Cut parallel strips diagonally into the dough on both sides of the peas. Fold these strips over the peas, alternating left and right.

Step 3/4

Cut one end of the dough into 5 strips and fold them over each other on one side to form a tail. Remove 2 triangles to the left and right of the other end and fold the rest into a long triangle to make the crocodile's mouth. Cut discs from the off-cuts to make the eyes and legs. Make scissor cuts in the mouth to make the teeth and on top to make scales.

Step 4/4

Place on the baking tray lined with parchment paper, brush with egg yolk, and bake for 25 minutes at 350 °F. Remove from the oven, finish the eyes with discs of swiss cheese and peas, cut into pieces, and enjoy!
