Divide the cake batter into three portions—leave one plain, color one portion green, and another portion grey. Pipe the batters into separate cake pans and bake until fully cooked. Stack the cakes and pipe buttercream between the layers.

Using parchment paper as a base, pipe various colors of buttercream to form a camouflage pattern. Wrap the patterned buttercream around the cake. On the cake's top, decorate with buttercream to create an American flag design, and add star-shaped sprinkles. Serve and enjoy!
