Description
On its own or as a side dish, this Chinese fried rice recipe takes our taste buds to the heart of Asia with only 4 ingredients… and it’s just as good as Chinese takeout!
1,5 cup rice
4 pièce eggs
1 cup frozen peas
8 tranche slices ham
1 pincée oil
3 tsp soy sauce
Step 1/4
Cook the rice in a pot of boiling salted water according to the time indicated on the package. Drain and set aside.
Step 2/4
Beat eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan over low heat, then pour in beaten eggs and stir with a spatula until slightly runny.
Step 3/4
Stir in rice, peas and diced ham. Cook for 5 more minutes, stirring regularly.
Step 4/4
Serve in a bowl with a dash of soy sauce.
Tip
For a vegetarian meal, replace the ham with smoked tofu cut into matchsticks. You can also flavor your eggs with a pinch of turmeric: rich in antioxidants, this spice will brighten up your omelet with its beautiful yellow color!
