Step 1/3
In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, softened butter, water, and salt. Mix well until all ingredients are incorporated and the dough forms a smooth consistency. Cover the bowl with a cloth and let the dough rise in a warm place until it has doubled in size.
Step 2/3
Once risen, transfer the dough to a floured surface. Divide the dough into larger and smaller portions, shaping them into balls. Allow the balls to rise again until they have puffed up. Take the larger dough balls and flatten them slightly. Place a cube of cheddar cheese in the center of each and seal the dough around the cheese, forming a ball.
Step 3/3
Use all the dough balls to create cat shapes, pressing a hot dog into the center of each cat’s belly. Brush the surface of each cat with an egg wash, then bake until golden brown. Use black olive pieces to create the cat's eyes and nose, and drizzle ketchup decorate. Create a small fish shape from cheese and place alongside the cats. Serve and enjoy!
