pizza dough
basil
grated parmesan
egg
bell peppers
pearl onions
pine nuts
cherry tomatoes
pesto
mozzarella
Step 1/3
Layer pesto between two squares of pizza dough. Make lateral cuts on each side, avoiding the center. Twist the pieces to create pizza twists. Spread additional pesto in the center, add cherry tomatoes and parmesan. Bring the pizza twists toward the center around the cherry tomatoes, forming a Christmas tree shape.
Step 2/3
Sprinkle with pine nuts, pearl onions, and bell peppers. Brush with egg wash and place a pizza dough star on top. Bake until done.
Step 3/3
After baking, sprinkle with extra parmesan and mozzarella. Garnish with fresh basil leaves, serve, and enjoy!
