Ingredients for 8 people
1 1/2 cups sugar
1 tbsp water
6 pineapple pieces
6 donuts
1 puff pastry
10 cherries
Whipped cream
Step 1/2
Make caramel by melting sugar and water until thick - be careful not to burn. Pour caramel into the bottom of a pie dish. Place the pineapple rings in the caramel and place a donut on top of each pineapple.
Step 2/2
Cover the whole thing with pie dough and bake for 20 minutes at 350°F. Once removed from oven, overturn on a serving dish and fill all the whole with whipped cream. Place cherries in the middle of each pineapple and on top of the whipped cream. Slice and serve.
