2 sheets puff pastry
12 sausages
2 cups shredded mozzarella
1 lb potatoes
3 tbsp butter
1/2 cup gravy
1 egg

Step 1/2
Cut puff pastry to size, so that a sausage can be rolled up, then roll up each sausage in a sheet of puff pastry. Arrange the wrapped sausagesaround the circumference of a springform pan so that the sausages are standing up. Put another ring on the interior to keep them standing. Brush with egg yolk, then bake for 30 minutes at 350 °F.
Step 2/2
Boil the potatoes in salted water, then drain and mash. Add cheese, butter and salt and mix. Add the potato mixture to the interior ring of your sausage cake and make a well. Pour the gravy into this well. Enjoy by dipping sausage rolls into the potatoes and gravy in the center.
