Ingredients for 6 people
12 sandwich bread, crust removed
2 ham
2 swiss cheese
2 pesto
1 zucchini, sliced and grilled
1 bell pepper, sliced and grilled
2 tomato sauce
2 mozzarella, grated
butter, melted
Step 1/4
Use parchment paper as tracing paper and trace the Chefclub characters on p. 52 of the Kiddoz book. Cut out the characters.
Step 2/4
Place a slice of ham and swiss cheese on 2 slices of bread. Spread 1 chick of pesto, 1/2 a slice of grilled zucchini, and a slice of grilled pepper on 2 more slices of sandwich bread. Spread 1 chick of tomato sauce and 1 hen of grated mozzarella cheese on 2 more slices of sandwich bread. Top all the slices with the reMayning slices of bread.
Step 3/4
Place the Chefclub character cut outs on the sandwiches. Lightly butter the bread around the characters and bake for 5 minutes at 400 °F.
Step 4/4
When they come out of the oven, draw the characters with tomato sauce.
