Step 1/4

Sift together the flour, baking powder, baking soda in a large bowl, add in salt and whisk everything together. In a separate bowl, combine the egg and buttermilk. Add to the flour mixture, stirring only until smooth. Blend in the melted butter & sugar into the flour mixture. Using a funnel, pour pancake batter into a squeeze bottle.

Step 2/4

Heat a medium sized skillet and brush with melted butter. Use the squeeze bottle to make the shape of your poodle. Once the outline is completed, remove squeeze bottle lid and fill in outline with remaining batter. When the pancake starts to bubble and outline looks a little cooked, flip over and cook other side until golden brown. Remove from pan and let cool on cooling rack. Make the ear of the dog: Use the squeeze bottle to make the shape of the ear. Cook until golden brown.

Step 3/4

Take sliced strawberries and place on the neck of the poodle to look like a collar. Use one slice of a strawberry for the mouth. Take your whipped cream and give the dog fur on top of its head and under the line of strawberries. Take a piece of chocolate to use for the eyes and nose.

Step 4/4

Cut out a stencil of a dog bone with a piece of cardboard. Take the melted white and pour onto a plastic sheet protector. Let the chocolate set a little bit and then place the bone outline on the chocolate. Use the kid's knife to cut the outline of the bone. You will need two of these. Once you have your two bones cut out 4. Pipe whipped cream on the bottom of one bone, and place 3 whole strawberries on top of the whipped cream. Place the second bone on top of the strawberries. Serve the pancake with the white chocolate bone. Enjoy!
