Ingredients for 4 people
2 puff pastries
3 slices ham
4 slices swiss cheese
2 egg yolks
1 baking tray
Step 1/3Cut an oval eye shape from of 1 of the puff pastries, cutting from one end of the dough to the other without removing the scraps. Place the ham and swiss cheese on this oval, cover it with the second pastry and cut along the same oval.
Step 2/3Cut one end of this oval to make a large triangle. Cut out shells, stars, a fin, an eye and fish from the dough scraps. Cut strips at the top and bottom of most of the oval and twist them.
Step 3/3Place the fin and eye on one end of the oval to form the fish and turn the triangle around to make a tail. Place on the baking tray lined with parchment paper and brush with egg yolk. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 °F and enjoy by dipping in ketchup and mayonnaise!
