Ingredients for 4 people

1 french baguette

1 tbsp of vegetable oil

6 eggs

3/4 cup of diced bacon

6 gouda slices

6 cheddar slices

chives

Plastic wrap


Step 1/4

Cut the baguette into pieces 2 inches in length. Hollow out the center by pushing down on the inside of the bread.

Step 2/4

Place plastic wrap over a bowl. Brush the plastic wrap with the vegetable oil. Poor in an egg. Twist and knot the plastic wrap to make a pouch. Repeat this 5 times. Cook the eggs in boiling water for 4 minutes, then add one into each piece of bread.

Step 3/4

Cook the diced bacon in a frying pan, then place on top of the eggs. Add a slice of Gouda and a slice of cheddar on the top of each.

Step 4/4

Place under the grill for 5 minutes at 400 °F. Sprinkle with chopped chives and serve.
