Mashed Potatoes and Meatballs

Ingredients for 7 people

7 potatoes

2 eggs

1/2 lbs ground beef

1 red onion

7 mini bocconcini

1/2 cup bechamel sauce

1/2 cup mozzarella, grated

Parsley

Salt & pepper

Step 1/3

Peel the potatoes, cook them in salted water, and mash them with the eggs, salt, and pepper. Form 7 balls with this mash and arrange them in the pie dish. Dig holes in the middle of each ball.

Step 2/3

Mix the beef with the chopped onion, chopped parsley, salt, and pepper. Divide this mixture into 7 balls and place them in the holes of the mashed potatoes. Press a mini bocconcini into each meatball.

Step 3/3

Pour the bechamel between the mashed potato balls and sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for 20 minutes at 350 °F and enjoy hot!
