Flowery Strawberry Tart

Ingredients for 6 people

pie dough

4 egg yolks

1/4 cup of flour

2/3 cup of sugar

3 1/3 tbsp of milk

1 vanilla bean

25 strawberries

7 black gumdrops

Step 1/3

Lay the pie dough in the tart pan, place dry beans on top for weight and bake for 20 minutes at 350 °F.

Step 2/3

Mix the egg yolks, flour, and sugar. Bring the milk to a boil with the scraped vanilla and then stir in the egg mixture off the heat. Pour this custard into the pie crust.

Step 3/3

Cut the strawberries in half and arrange them on the pie in circles of 7 halves pointing inwards. Place a gumdrop in the center of each circle. Slice and enjoy!
