Grill sausage patties, then layer them with cheddar and sunny side up eggs. Place another patty on top, add some jalapeno compound butter, and finish with a scoop of caramelized onions.
Insert a cooked bacon strip into the middle of each donut and fill them with herbed cream cheese. Position the assembled patties on these donuts. Submerge the remaining donuts in maple syrup, then coat them with crushed pecans. Place these prepared donuts on top of the patties and press down gently. Finally, take them off the heat and set aside.
Flatten the sausage patties on the grill, apply a layer of compound butter, and then cover them with additional ground sausage. Give it another gentle press, cooking until a rich golden brown. Meanwhile, prepare some eggs on the side, seasoning them with salt and pepper. Place the eggs on the patties.
Slice the donuts in half horizontally, then dip their cut sides into maple syrup and roll them in crushed pecans. Set these prepared halves on the patties. On the bottom halves of the donuts, spread a layer of aioli, followed by a tomato slice, some lettuce, cheddar cheese, and some caramelized onions. Assemble the donut burgers and enjoy!
