The Starry Quiche

Ingredients for 6 people

1 pie crust

6 carrots (peeled and cooked)

4 eggs

1 cup of cream cheese

1 head of broccoli (cooked and cut into small florets)

5 hot dogs

salt & pepper


Pie dish

Parchment paper

Dried beans


Step 1/4

Place the pie crust in the pie dish. Poke with a fork, add weight (dried beans for example), and bake for 20 minutes at 350° F. Remove from oven and let cool.

Step 2/4

Blend together 3 chefs of cooked carrot slices, 2 eggs, half of the cream cheese, and the salt and pepper. Mix together 3 chefs of cooked broccoli heads, 2 eggs, the other half of the cream cheese, and salt and pepper.

Step 3/4

Pour 1 chef of the carrot mixture into the center of the pie crust. Add 1 chef of the broccoli mixture to the center over the first mixture and continue alternating to fill the pie with several green and orange circles.

Step 4/4

Cut the hot dogs in half lengthwise and cut each half at an angle into 4 pieces. Arrange the hot dog pieces into star shapes on top of the pie and bake for 25 minutes at 350° F. Slice and enjoy!
