Ice Cream Cake

When it's too hot for normal cake... but pudding is life!

Total time: 45 minutes

Ingredients for 8 people

2 1/2 sticks butter

1 1/2 cups of cassonade sugar

2 tbsp of honey

1 tbsp of baking powder

1 tbsp of vanilla extract

1 egg

3 cups of flour

2 bags of m&ms

1 cup of chocolate chips

2 cups of sugar decorations

1 quart of strawberry ice cream

1 quart of chocolate ice cream

1 quart of vanilla ice cream

chocolate sauce

caramel sauce

Step 1/3

With your hands, mix the butter, sugar, honey, baking powder, vanilla extract, egg, flour, M&Ms, chocolate chips and sugar decorations in a bowl. Spread half of this preparation inside of a springform pan and bake for 15 minutes at 350 °F. Repeat the process to obtain 2 giant cookies.

Step 2/3

Let the cookies cool and remove them from the pans. Cover the bottom of the springform pan with plastic wrap, then add scoops of the three ice cream flavors in a pattern of your choosing to form a disc. Freeze 15 minutes.

Step 3/3

Assemble the cake by sandwiching the ice cream disc between the two cookies. Decorate the top of the cake with chocolate and caramel sauce, then enjoy.
