BBQ Done Right

  1. Remove the flesh from the spicy Italian sausage and spread it in a large rectangle on plastic wrap. Place a row of cheddar cheese in the middle and roll the meat around it using cling film to tighten it. Arrange slices of bacon on cling film and wrap them around the sausage. Remove the sausages from the cling film, cook them on the barbecue (or in a grill pan) and enjoy.

  2. Chop the chicken breasts and mix them with chopped parsley, minced red onion, paprika and egg. Spread this mixture in a large rectangle on plastic wrap. Place the 2 cheese wheels on one half of the rectangle and fold the other half over to cover. Tighten well with the plastic wrap and place in the freezer for 1 hour. Once out of the freezer, remove the plastic wrap and grill or cook on stove.

  3. Remove the flesh from the sweet Italian sausages and spread it in a large rectangle on plastic wrap. Mix cream cheese (about 1/2 a block) with chopped parsley and chives, salt and pepper. Spread this mixture in the middle of the rectangle and roll it around it tightly with cling film. Place in the freezer for 45 minutes. Arrange the sliced grilled vegetables on cling film and wrap them around the meat filling that has been removed from the freezer. Remove the plastic wrap and then cook on the grill or on the stove in a grill pan.
