XXL Pizza Roll

Ingredients for 6 people

2 pizza doughs

12 slices of ham

4 slices of Swiss cheese

6 slices of cheddar

6 slices of mozzarella

4 slices of gouda

4 TBSP tomato sauce

1 ball of mozzarella

50 g flour

2 eggs

50 g breadcrumbs

Vegetable oil

Herbs de Provence

1 spring-form pan


Step 1/4

Spread 2 TBSP tomato sauce on a pizza dough and sprinkle with herbs de Provence. Cut the pasta into 4 strips of the same width. Cover each strip with cured ham. Add 2 slices of Swiss cheese on one of the shorter strips, 3 slices of cheddar cheese on one long strip, 3 slices of mozzarella cheese on the other long strip and 2 slices of Gouda cheese on the last one. Repeat with the second pizza dough.

Step 2/4

Bread the mozzarella ball by rolling it first in flour, then beaten eggs, finally breadcrumbs and then fry it. Drain the fried mozzarella ball well to remove excess oil.

Step 3/4

Wrap 1 of the pizza strips around the fried ball and then wrap a second strip around it to make the roll bigger. Repeat with all the strips until you have a large circle.

Step 4/4

Place the pizza rose in the spring-form pan and bake at 375 °F for 25 minutes. Remove from the oven, let cool, cut into pieces and enjoy warm.
