Ingredients for 5 people
1 block mozzarella cheese
10 hot dogs
Pie crust dough
1 egg yolk
2 tsp tomato paste
Step 1/3Cut the mozzarella into strips. Cut each hot dog lengthwise, then insert a slice of mozzarella.
Step 2/3Arrange the hot dogs on the pie crust dough, then cut them into 3 equal parts to form the knuckles of a finger. Roll up the 3 pieces of hot dog lined up in the pie crust dough, then cut the edge to cut off the extra dough. Pinch the dough between each hot dog part and draw folds on top with a knife to create a finger.
Step 3/3Place the fingers on a lined-baking sheet lined with baking paper and brush with egg yolk. Spread tomato paste on one end, then stick an almond on top to form the fingers. Bake for 15 minutes at 350 °F. Enjoy with tomato sauce! Chefclub's tip: Boil the almonds in water for 3 minutes to remove their skin.
