Carbonara Broccoli Bowls
Pasta is even better with a touch of green!
Total time: 20 minutes
Ingredients for 4 people
2 circles of pizza dough
1 1/2 cups of grated mozzarella
1 head of broccoli
pepper, to taste
1 cup of bacon, sliced
1 1/2 cups of cooked spaghetti
Sprinkle the pizza dough with mozzarella cheese and cover with a second layer of pizza dough. Press the edges together with fingers to seal. Place a head of broccoli upside down in the enter of the dough. Fold the edges of the dough around the florets and press firmly to stick. Turn right side up and bake on a parchment paper lined baking tray for 20 minutes at 350 °F.
In a bowl, combine eggs, parmesan and pepper. Whisk together. Set aside. In a pan, cook bacon. Once the bacon is cooked, add the spaghetti and the egg mixture. Toss together in the pan until all of the spaghetti is coated.
Remove the broccoli stem and cut up the florets inside of the dough. Put the carbonara inside and mix together. Enjoy!
