Express fried rice
For a lunch with or without chopsticks!

Ingredients for 4 people
1.5 cups rice
1 cup frozen peas
8 tranches slices ham
1 pincée oil
3 tsp soy sauce
Step 1/4Cook the rice in a pot of boiling salted water according to the time indicated on the package. Drain and set aside.
Step 2/4Beat eggs in a bowl and season with salt and pepper. Heat a small amount of oil in a frying pan over low heat, then pour in beaten eggs and stir with a spatula until slightly runny.
Step 3/4Stir in rice, peas and diced ham. Cook for 5 more minutes, stirring regularly.
Step 4/4Serve in a bowl with a dash of soy sauce.

For a vegetarian meal, replace the ham with smoked tofu cut into matchsticks. You can also flavor your eggs with a pinch of turmeric: rich in antioxidants, this spice will brighten up your omelet with its beautiful yellow color!
