Tex-Mex Stuffed Peppers

Ingredients for 6 people

6 bell peppers

Bacon

Pizza dough

Olive oil

1 1/2 lb ground beef

2 tbsp taco seasoning

Cooked rice

Salsa

Grated cheese

Salt & pepper

Step 1/3

Cut off the top of the bell peppers and remove the seeds. Make vertical slices around each of the peppers. Weave two pieces of bacon around each pepper. Cut the pizza dough into strips. Weave the pizza dough in the tops of the bell peppers.

Add olive oil to a hot skillet, then add the ground beef. Mix in the taco seasoning, salt, and pepper. Remove the grease. Place 3/4 of the meat mixture in a baking dish. Cover with rice and then salsa.

Step 3/3

Add rice and salsa to the remaining beef, then fill the peppers with the mixture. Cover with the grated cheese. Place the pepper tops on a lined baking tray. Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place both dishes in the oven and bake for 25 minutes at 350 °F. Enjoy!
