Total time: 1 hour 30 minutes

Ingredients for 4 people

5 onions

1 cup of flour

10 chicken legs

16 fl oz of buffalo sauce

2 tsp of garlic powder

4 eggs

1 cup of panko

vegetable oil

5.3 oz of shredded mozzarella

5.3 oz of shredded cheddar

ranch dressing

parsley

Tools

Cooling racks

Round baking dishes

Plastic wrap

Parchement paper

Step 1/4

Begin cutting the onions into onion ring circles. Save the unused parts of the onion for later. Cut the onion rings so that they interlock and form a circle of onions. Sandwich the onions between two cooling racks and place in round baking dish. Sprinkle with flour and cover with a second round baking dish. Wrap with plastic film to secure the dish and shake. Remove from dishes and freeze the onion ring for 1 hour.

Step 2/4

Place the chicken legs in a baking dish and cover with buffalo sauce. Add in the extra onion from the first step and mix. Sprinkle with garlic powder and place in the fridge for 4 hours. Then bake the wings on a parchment lined baking sheet for 35 minutes at 400 °F.

Step 3/4

Remove the onion rings from the freezer and brush the entire surface with egg wash. Return the onion rings to the cooling racks as done in step one. Sprinkle with panko and close with the baking dish as seen in the video. Shake and then place in the freezer for 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Step 4/4

Deep fry the onion ring in hot vegetable oil at 350 °F until golden brown in color. Fill the holes with mozzarella and cheddar cheeses and bake for 5 minutes at 350 °F. Remove from the oven and place the cooked chicken legs into the holes. Pour ranch into the center and sprinkle with parsley. Dig in and enjoy!
