Ingredients for 6 people
2 lbs of pulled pork
1 container of pillsbury cinnamon rolls
4 slices of bacon
2 tbsp of thyme
1 tbsp of paprika
Salt & pepper
3 tbsp of bourbon
2 containers of cream cheese
2 cups of powdered sugar
Start by cooking the chopped bacon in a skillet and once crispy, pour into a mixing bowl with butter, thyme, bourbon and paprika. Mix using a whisk until combined. Set aside.
Unroll the cinnamon rolls and place on a work surface. Add a layer of the bacon butter on top of each one. Add the pulled pork and re-roll. Place in a baking dish and bake until golden brown.
Mix the powdered sugar and cream cheese until combined. Set aside.
Once the rolls are cooked, allow to cool for 5 minutes and then drizzle with the cream cheese icing. Serve and enjoy!
